Jenifer Palmer has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Science degree in Pharmacy with a concentration in Forensic Serology and DNA Analysis. Ms. Palmer has been conducting forensic biology screening since 2001 and forensic DNA analysis since 2002. As a Forensic Scientist, she has maintained proficiencies during this time frame and gained experience with various screening tests and multiple DNA kits, robots, instruments, and software analysis systems.  Ms. Palmer is highly skilled in mixture interpretation and case reviews, and is also very familiar with DNA database specimen eligibility requirements, as a qualified NDIS user.  Playing a key role in both the implementation of a government forensic lab outsourcing program in 2000 as well as the annual oversight of this program, she has intimate knowledge of DNA vendor contracts, outsourcing standards as outlined in the FBI DNA Quality Assurance Standards and the most efficient and effective case review processes.  As an FBI qualified DNA auditor and a currently proficient DNA analyst, Ms. Palmer routinely conducts audits of DNA laboratories across the nation.  In addition, she is a founding member of Forensic Science Solutions, LLC which is dedicated to providing support to the forensic community in the form of consulting, reviewing, teaching, and individually designed projects.

Kelcey Reed has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Northern Arizona University with post graduate coursework in Genetics from the University of Central Florida.  She has been conducting forensic biology screening since 1996 and forensic DNA analysis since 1999.  She was an instrumental part of the starting DNA analysis in the Phoenix Police Department in 2000.  Her experience includes competency in various screening tests, multiple DNA kits, robots, instruments, and DNA software analysis systems.  Ms. Reed has extensive experience in mixture interpretation and case reviews, and is also understands the DNA database specimen eligibility requirements, as a qualified NDIS user.   She has been an FBI qualified DNA auditor since 2006 and is a qualified DNA expert in Maricopa County.  She has maintained long standing memberships with the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and the Southwestern Association of Forensic Scientists She is also a founding member of Forensic Science Solutions, LLC which is dedicated to providing exceptional support to the forensic community.
